The School Council is made up of two representatives from each class who have been voted for by their classmates. They help run fortnightly Class Council meetings within their classes which talk about ideas and issues that have been raised by the children. These meetings give every child in the school the opportunity to have a voice.
Anything that needs further discussion comes to the School Council meetings in the Staffroom with all the representatives and Miss Jenkins - we often have a governor join us too! In these meetings we make decisions and vote for things we would like to do, try to solve problems and generally help make our school even better! In the past we have made decisions about where fundraising money should go, how to encourage good behaviour around the school and how to support our local football team!
