Year 2 Outdoor Learning

Here are some pictures of the lovely (but chilly) afternoon we had on Thursday. We hope you enjoy the clay/nature faces we made,

as much as we did making them!

GB Paralympic Athlete Visit – Wednesday 9th January

This Wednesday we will be having a visit from GB Paralympic athlete Ryan Crouch. Each class will be taking part in a fitness workshop, involving lots of fun activities to promote healthy living and the importance of developing a growth mind-set. Please can your child come to school in school uniform and ensure they bring their PE kits on the day. They will then get changed before their workshop in their PE kits.

Many thanks, Miss Vaissiere and Mrs Coston. PE Coordinators.

As the children spend a lot of the Nursery session outside, please can ensure your child has a warm coat, a scarf, gloves and a hat.

Thank you.

Christmas Cards

Having spoken to Chameleon Create we can update you further on any missing items. We have been informed that the company has had a breakdown of one of their printers and this is why many items have been delayed.

We have been reassured that all items will be with us before the Christmas holidays.

As a school we are disappointed with the lack of communication and items from Chameleon Create. Rest assured next year we will be using a different company who we know will not let us down.

Thank you again for all of your support with this and Miss Francis would like to apologise for any frustration caused by the delays.

Nursery Christmas Party – Monday 17th December

Reminder: Monday 17th December we will be having a Christmas party in Nursery. Please come dressed in your party clothes and bring some yummy party food or drinks to share with your friends (no nuts or sesame please). The Christmas party will be within the normal session times. So please drop your child off in the morning at 8:45 am and 12:05 pm in the afternoon.

Thank you

Miss Vaissiere.

Super Songbirds

The Songbirds were absolutely fantastic at the St Peter Mancroft Carol service and got many compliments from the audience. A big well done to all the children and a big thank you to Mrs Clayton and Miss Ledgard who have worked so hard to ensure the children are thoroughly enjoying being in Songbirds and the children showed everyone how much they enjoyed singing. Thank you so much to our parents and carers who supported us by allowing their children to attend. We appreciate it is a late night and although you might be keen to be in for the craft morning we can keep registers open, until 9.50am for our Songbirds, if your child is super tired and it helps. Thank you again.

Christmas Shows

A BIG well done to all the children who have been absolutely brilliant in the Christmas Shows over the last two days. I know the school adults have been incredibly proud and it has definitely made everyone get even more excited about Christmas! Thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting our link school with your kind donations. We will let you know how much we raised in our January newsletter.
